Tourism disaster, e-coli Camps Bay shocker

CAMPS BAY’S five star beach rating could be withdrawn following release of a controversial documentary on raw sewerage, affecting the Bay, Maiden’s Cove and also Clifton. E-coli levels are excessive and could result in debilitating flesh eating diseases. Bathers are warned to stay clear of the Atlantic Seaboard and until a full assessment of the problem can be made.

Wavescape SA, the website which broke the story by publishing links to the video, followed by Lifeissavage.com should be commended for braving the fallout, to report the truth, Atlantic Ocean is in distress.

The video by filmmaker Mark Jackson is a real shocker, showing aerial footage in which the raw sewage plumes are completely visible.

Cape Town City has yet to issue any comment.

We suggest readers complain to the Mayor, Patricia De Lille.

UPDATE: City officials respond
