The evil Dr Blofeld, oops, Rumsfeld, has resigned from General George Walter Bush’s cabinet as the democratics sweep both houses, the senate and congress in America’s schizofrenic two-party political system. In other words the world is guaranteed complete mayhem and evil every four to eight years, as republicans battle for control of the ailing super-power.
Time to ditch the “first-past-the-post” political system? Do we need a President of the World, or should there be a law preventing dynesties and more than one family member applying for the job? We could have done without Bush jnr, and the Cold War cronies that surrounded him. Surely this is the end for America’s worst ever president?
